Hewas first married to Minnie Frieden, she preceded him in death.  OnFebruary 23, 1974 he married Clara Axel in Muscatine.  He was owner ofFry and Son Welding County  Survivors include his wife, two sons Wesleyand Joe Fry of Muscatine, one step son Douglas Axel of Muscatine, 5g/children, 3 step g/children, 3 great g/children, one brother Wayne ofMuscatine and a sister Josephine Van Dyke of Muscatine.  A sisterpreceded him in death.
