                   Notes from obit;  Burial was in Letts Iowa cemetery.  He was a 20 yearretired employee of Thatcher Packaging and was a mechanic for Weber andHuston in Letts Iowa.  Surviving are his wife, a son Charles William ofGrandview Iowa, three daughters Mrs. David (Berniece) Tharp of GrandviewIowa, Mrs. Barbara Meeker of Wapello Iowa, and Mrs. Thomas (Brenda)McAvoy of Louisville Kentucky, 8 g/children, 7 brothers Glen, Roy, James,Scott, Arthur, Marvin, and Merle, 4 sisters Mrs. Steve (Hazel) Danko ofChicago Illinois, Mrs. Leo (Mildred) Freidli of Wilton, Mrs. Robert(Dorothy) McElroy and Mrs. Ward (Mable) Lee both of Muscatine Iowa.  Hewas preceded in death by a brother and a infant daughter.
