Surviving are his wife two sons Arthur P. and RichardD. of Letts Iowa, three daughters Mrs. Alice Sodamon of Moline Illinois,Mrs. Ruth Lieberknecht of Letts Iowa, and Mrs. Norma Tadlock of MolineIllinois, two brothers Earl Wells of Portland OR, and Marcus Wells ofSeattle Washington, one sister Mrs. Opal Fry of Muscatine Iowa, 10g/children.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

                   Notes from obit; Ruth was a dear friend to Ralph (Bobby) Welsch.  She waskilled in a car accident. Burial will be in the Letts Iowa cemetery.  Sheworked at the H. J. Heinz until her retirement. Survivors include hersister in laws, Susie Wells of Letts, Jeanette Woodard of MolineIllinois, Mary Fern Stedman of Madison Wisconsin, Miriam Taylor of BiloxiMississippi, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death byher parents, her husband Arthur, a son Richard (Dickie) Lieberknecht, twobrothers, Richard and Arthur Wells, and two sisters Norma Wells and AliceSodeman.
