                   Notes from obit;  He died at his home one hour after returning fromVietnam where he had gone on business for the Burroughs Corporation.  Hewas the son of H. Arthur and Winifred (Shellabarger) Lieberknecht Sr. andhad spent most of his life in the Letts area.  He was a field engineerfor the Burroughs Corporation.  Burial will be in the Letts cemetery.Survivors include his wife Mrs. Ruth Lieberknecht, his father H. ArthurLieberknecht Sr. of Letts Iowa, four sisters Mrs. Olen (Miriam) Taylor ofBiloxi Mississippi, Mrs Emory (Mary Fern) Stedman of Madison Wisconsin,Mrs. Archie (Jean) DeWaele of East Moline Illinois, and Mrs. Truman(Jeannette) Woodard of Moline Illinois.                    Notes from obit; Ruth was a dear friend to Ralph (Bobby) Welsch.  She waskilled in a car accident. Burial will be in the Letts Iowa cemetery.  Sheworked at the H. J. Heinz until her retirement. Survivors include hersister in laws, Susie Wells of Letts, Jeanette Woodard of MolineIllinois, Mary Fern Stedman of Madison Wisconsin, Miriam Taylor of BiloxiMississippi, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death byher parents, her husband Arthur, a son Richard (Dickie) Lieberknecht, twobrothers, Richard and Arthur Wells, and two sisters Norma Wells and AliceSodeman.
