Finnegan, 87, of Aleppo, RD 1, died unexpectedly Sat., Nov. 7, 1992, in her home. She was born Sept. 11, 1905, in Scullton, Somerset County, a daughter of William R. and Hester M. Pettit Garey. She had been a resident of Aleppo most of her life a member of Aleppo Brethren Church. On Oct. 2, 1934, she married Robert M. Finnegan, who died June 29, 1967. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Asa "Peggy" Hughes of Allentown; two sons, Kenneth L. Finnegan of Aleppo RD 1 and Gerald R. Finnegan of Aleppo; four grandchildren, Robbie L. Finnegan, Erica L. Hughes, Kimberly R. Finnegan and Beverly A. Finnegan; and two great grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Charles and William Gray. She was the last of her immediate family. Arrangements were in charge of the Rush Funeral Home in Rogersville.
