Catherine Stickle was the daughter of George Stickle. (a George Stickle owned land close to the Kings in York County Pennsylvania, later found in Somerset County Pennsylvania). It is said of George's mother that she spoke Pennsylvania Dutch ( I would rather believe that it was Catherine who spoke the Pennsylvania Dutch as she was more German than Susannah Passmore, who was English) Catherine is buried in Mt. Washington Cemetery near Perryopolis Pennsylvania. Catherine is mentioned in both her father and mother's wills Catherine Stickle was the daughter of George Stickle.
