Lynch R. King is listed on the 1850 Census in Perry Township, Fayette
County Pennsylvania. He is shown living with his grandfather Robert
Lynch who was 72 years old, Lynch is listed as 25 years old,and his
occupation was a manufacturer, Phebe King 41, and Nancy King 16. Phebe
(Phoebe) is a widowed daughter of Robert Lynch and her daughter. Lynch
married in1851 Rebecca Shepherd and in 1853 son Charles Henry was born .
In 1854, Lynch is an auditor for Perry Township. In 1856 Lynch moved to
Minnesota and settles on a farm near Stockton. He was elected Sheriff
and served 3 terms,served on the County Board of Supervisors. In January
1868, he moved to Rochester Minnesota where he owned an Agricultural
Implement Business with partner R. R. Reid. He died at age 44. In his
obituary it states that he had insurance policies worth $5,000. He was
buried at Rochester Minnesota.

for 3rd Ward City of Winona Minnesota, listed as age 36-Sheriff born in
Pennsylvania. Pat Hollstron 32 Deputy Sheriff and Susan Mennaw a Servant
both born in Germany

On the 1870 Census of the 2nd Ward Rochester Minnesota-shows a Rebecca
age 38 with real estate valued at 10,000 and personal at 17,000 as
keeping house born in Ohio , living in the house of Hiram Line age38 , a
jeweler born in Ohio. It appears as her last name Line. 2 people with
surname Line 1-Eugene age 11 born in Wisconsin 2-Hattie age 5 born in
Minnesota----3 people with surname King 1-Charles age 19 a clerk born in
Pennsylvania 2-Bascomb age 15 born in Minnesota and 3-Jennie age 6 born
in Minnesota. Also an Elizabeth Keister age 16 a domestic servant born in
Russia ( could Rebecca married after the death of Lynch and was raising
children of Hiram Line)

Charles Henry was instrumental in establishing the town of Riverton
Wyoming in 1906. He was a major and shaker in establishing many towns in
Wyoming. He was among the first to set up mercantile stores at Ft.
Fetterman, Douglas, Glenrock, Casper, Shoshoni, and Riverton from the mid
1880's to 1906. He also had banks, lumber companies, and string teams to
haul freight to the Arapaho and Shoshone tribes at Ft. Washkai and
Arapahoe in addition to the towns it was reported that the main office
was in Omaha Nebraska. (information from Leniegh Schrinar, Volunteer at
Riverton Museum Research Center of Riverton Wyoming. Charles Henry's
Family records are also from the Riverton Research Center) There is also
evidence of him being in the Territory of Utah in 1893 from land records
in Weber County ,Utah Territory (from Gearld R. Ford library) Charles
Henry buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery Glendale California.

was born in March 1856 in Pennsylvania both his parents born in
Pennsylvania and that he is a merchant.

Gertrude be the same person)
