                   Died in Owlhurst, Parish of Stapleton age about 82 years.  He married ANN who died in 1729 at Owlhurst in the Parish of Stapleton.   He was found in the Quaker Burial Index and identified the link to the farmstead of 'Owlhurst' which appears to have been the Forster family home for at least four generations.  He was buried on 26 Nov 1731 probably in the Quaker Meeting House grounds which is very close to Owlhurst.

Note: Several of the children listed here are in question.  More research is needed for this family.

                   Thomas died 77 years, 5 months, 1 week and 5 days old.  The Quakers were well known for their precise record keeping. From the age we were able to deduce that Thomas was born in1695. Hurst (Owlhurst) Parish of Stapleton. Occupation:   Yeoman Farmer
He was born at Hurst (Owlhurst) in the Parish of Stapleton.  Named as exeutor of his father Thomas's will dated 24 Jan 1731 and is left all the remainder of his estate.
FORSTER is another spelling
Wills Index at the Cumbria Record Office in Carlisle we found that thomas Forester of Owlhurst made a 'Will' dated 20 Jan 1773 which mentioned his children and his loving wife Mary.
The Quaker Burial Index gives the dates of death and burial.
Three years after the death of the first wife, Thomas married Mary Portis in 1750.
