Came to America without his wife. set sail May 30 1863,age 51 after waiting 14 years for her to join the Latter-Day-Saint church, leaving  with his son about 14
years of age.Recorded in family Bible. Copy in possession of Sandra Teryy.  His 3 daughters were married and never saw him again. Family story
says that was the time Biblical Joseph served for his wives.
On ship Cynosure May 30, 1863. Carpenter and wheelwright by trade.(Sandra Terry has notes of Uncle Will)
