Came to America without his wife. set sail May 30 1863,age 51 after waiting 14 years for her to join the Latter-Day-Saint church, leaving with his son about 14
years of age.Recorded in family Bible. Copy in possession of Sandra Teryy. His 3 daughters were married and never saw him again. Family story
says that was the time Biblical Joseph served for his wives.
