Martin LARSON

                      Parents were married between the time he was born and the time he was
baptised. Lived with Rud family after parents died, mom died when he was 3 and
elderly dad at 5 Mom was killed in a sleigh accident. Martin came to America with
Johanna and 5 of her 8 brothers, and then years later married her.
"Sept 18, 1899 plead guilty before Judge Wyman at LaCrosse to the charge of
assault with intent to commit rape upon his own dau (12 )and  was sentenced to
2 1/2 yrs hard labor in the penitentiary at Waupun, Wisconsin.  Completed his term and
returned home Monday, released 5 months early for good behavior. It is
hoped that Rud's incarceration has given him time to reflect upon the
error of his ways and that from henceforth he will be a kind father
and a law abiding citizen." (Whitehall Times and Blair Banner, Nov 7, 1901.)
This would have been Anna. Family moved West , fall of 1902 to Glendale
Ore for 1 yr, then to a farm in Willamette Valley 2 mi NE of Aurora Ore. They
lived in Vader 1918-1919 and then moved to Oregon City, then Canby in fall 1923
where wife died. They also lived for several years in Barlow Ore.
