Was a farmer and practiced medicine, a minister  Church of Christ at Clearcreek and a
staunch Republican.
1859 sold land to Jacob Sutton 16 Aug Bk H pg  SW 1/4 NW 1/4 SEC 31 TWP 62 RG 27
Served in Co F 43 regt. MO volunteers 8/64- 6/65 at Bethany MO 1 yr mustered out as
Sergt.. 23 years later filed for disability as direct result-disease of lung,
spine, kidney and head causing deafness and impaired vision from measles and
cold that followed.
