                   LFS: "Served om tje Revolutionary War seven years. His son Spencer
Records received a commission as Captian.  He was a great Indian fighter
and a pioneer. He was quite a force in settling Indiana. Fought in the
Black Hawk War."
Exact deathplace unknown. Notes by Lillian F. Smith indicate he died
somewhere near Pittsburgh, PA, and that he and his wife were "both
buried in their own orchard."
