Born July 9, 1907 in Salt Lake City to William and Maria Sophia Martin Bernards. He fulfilled an LDS Mission in the Netherlands. Married Cora May Van Quill on April 3, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Survivors: Wife and three dayghters, Mrs.Ronald W. (Bonnie) Haslam, Mrs.Garth B. (Barbara) Whitney, Mrs. Sharell (Karrin) Farnsworth all of Salt Lake: 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, one sister. Funeral sisters, Saturday ten a.m., Wilford Second LDS Ward, 3179 Highland Drive. Born Sept. 13, 1910, in Cedar Fort, Utah to Henry Van Quill and Marie Louise Holm Van Quill. Married Ben Bernards on April 3, 1931, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Her husband perceded her in death October 6, 1982. Survivors: Three Daughters, Mrs. Ronald W. (Bonnie) Haslam, Mrs. Garth B. (Barbara) Whitney, Mrs. Sharell R. (Karrin) Farnsworth, all Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;one brother, Albert L. Van Quill, San Diego, Calif.;one sister, Clara Golatz, Salt Lake City.Funeral services Thursday, 11 a.m., in the Wilford LDS Stake Center, 3080 So 1765 East.
