Born April 29, 1882, Arnhem, Netherlands to Hendrik and Antonia Plium Timmerman. Married Cornelia (Nellie)Johanna Martin, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nov 15, 1905. She died Dec 15, 1952. Married Agnes Rowland, Aug 25, 1956. Retired employee, Utah Oil Refinery Co. Survivors: widow: son, Henry Timmerman; daughters: Mrs.Clifford L.

      Our tender and affectionate husband, father, grandfather, brother, caring neighbor, loyal friend and good samaritan, Henry Timmerman, age 78, passed away Monday, February 19, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah following a short illness. He was born May 6, 1911, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Henry Jacob and Cornelia(Nellie)Martin Timmerman. Married Florence Sylvia Anderson December 18, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an honorable and active High Priest of the LDS Church, Kenwood 2nd Ward. He and his wife filled an LDS Mission together in Georgia from 1979-81. He was proud to be an Honorary Deputy of the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Dept. and a Captain in the Mormon Battalion. Henry was a man of many skills and occupations including a proficient machinist, a talented mechanic and was a bonded independent used-car dealer for the last 25 years, still detailing and selling cars one week before his death. He loved the Lord , he loved his family, he loved his animals, he loved the mountains, and he loved life. Survived by his wife, Florence, Salt lake City, three daughters, Mrs. Clarence(Jean) Osguthorpe, Delta, Utah: Mrs. Steven (Sandra)Waltrous, Springville, Utah and Mrs. Brent(Lynette) Hardy, West Jordan, Utah: a son-in law, William S. Nicholson, Sandy, Utah; 20 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; three sisters, Antonia Sumner, Salt Lake city, Edith Rumolo, Burlingame, CA and Ruth Hunt, West Valley city, Utah and his loyal dog Jason. Preceded in death by an infant son, Richard Henry and a daughter , Mrs. William(Cheryl)Nicholson and a sister, Nellie Antonia Timmerman Heaps. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 23rd 12 noon at the Kenwood 2nd Ward, 1765 East 3080 south. Friends may call Thursday, from 6-8 pm, at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 1351 South 2300 East and at the ward on Friday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: the Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
