George Washington GRIMSHAW

                   Leona Armstrong Grimshaw, age 86, died on 3 June 1993, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. Reed(Eleanor)Heywood in Hurricane, West Virginia. She was born April 19, 1907, in Cedar City, Utah, to William Franklin and Ellen Hunter Armstrong. She married George W. Grimshaw, October 18, 1927 in Salt Lake City. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1990. Leona was an active member of the LDS Church having served in many auxillaries of the church. She was an active temple ordinance worker, in particularly having served in the Ogden LDS Temple. She and her family moved to Brigham City in 1958, having served actively in the community and also in the church. Among her survivors are local residents such as her brother, Mr. Clyde Armstrong of Brigham City. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 11, 1993, 2:00p.m.at the Larkin Mortuary 260 East South Temple in Salt Lake City, Where friends and family may call from 12:30p.m. until time of services. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 12, 1:00p.m. in the Cedar City Cemetery, Cedar City, Utah.
