Joseph Henry HEAPS

                   Corine Heaps Schow passed away April 4, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She was born August 29, 1906, in Escanlante, Utah to Joseph Henry and Alice Maria Gates Heaps.  She married Lera Schow, August 9, 1924, he preceded her in death.
    She worked for ZCMI for over 40 years as a saleslady.  She loved quilting and music and sang in the ward choir from the age of 12 until she was 93 years old.  She was very active in the LDS Church and the DUP and was very people oriented.  She lived many years of her life in Escalante, Utah.  She is survived by two daughters, Cleia Schow (Richard J.) Barrett and Gaya Schow Brady, both of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Brett K.(Ruth Brinton) Barrett, Colett Barrett(Bruce M.) Judd, Kirt K.(Lynn Clements) Barrett, Suzett Barrett(Dan B.) Taggart, Gary Jim(Julia Peterson) Xanthos, Neysa Xanthos and LeeAnna Xanthos (Randy) McQueen; 29 great-granchildren; 6 great-great grand children; two sisters and two brothers.  Preceded in death by one brother , one sister and one great-grandchild.
      Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at the Capitol Hill 1st Ward, 413 No. West Capitol.
   Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the Ward, Saturday, one hour prior to services.
Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy.
