Jean Pierre BONDURAND who emmigated to Virginia on the ship "PETER & ANTHONY", 20 sept 1700. The name endin of "T" or "D" are used interchangably.

The Ancestral File of  2 Jan 1966 gives Jean's father as Dr. Joseph Bondurant and his mother as Elizabeth Ann Chastain.  This is the result of a publication by Dr. P. M. Agee in 1937. Dr. Agee died leaving no source for his data.  See THE HUGUENOT Publication No. 30, 1981-1983 (Vol 30 and Vol 7 are bound together), p 116-121.  Later research has not coorborated Dr. Agee's data, but has established documentation for Jean' ancestry back to about 1500.  It is this documentation which I have shown on the pedegree.
