                   IN 1870 Census for Pymatuning Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania Frances was listed as keeping house and had $300 worth of personal property and two children Ammetta 8 yrs old and John C. 6 years old - both born in Wisconsin. Francis in the 1880 census for Clarksville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania was living with her mother Susan Ferirst who was 74 years old and Susan and her parents are listed as being born in Pennsylvania.  Also living with Frances and her mother Susan was a grandaughter of Susan's named Ida Ferirst age 15 yrs.  Frances was still living in Clarksville, Pa., in the 1900 census with no family showing.

Frances father was John Fruit a native of Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.  Born there in 1805.  His mother was Susan Clark the sister of William Clark, of Clarksville, Pennsylvania.  John and Susan were married in 1829.
