ephraim lived in the easterly part of the town, and the eminence near hisplace is still called " Mount Ephraim" subscibed to the building of the first meeting house in 1692 was an assessor in 1693 and 94 a member of the committee chosen to treat with the  town of Cambridge in relation to the purchase of land for the ministery; and an ensign of militia.
