There were several collered people as our near neighbors. A collered mand and wife two children. The wife was pretty white woman, she had one white and one black child. They were peacible neighbors. We moved from there to aplace called swamp Hollow there I went to school till I was sixteen (1873). I learen sewing then I went sometimes to stay with the sick. We had a few neighbors their names were Oliver Lamphere, Jessie Lamphere, George Lamphere, Oren Lamphere and one of their sisters name Mrs. Shoemaker George Mc Crary.
