Mrs. Tamson Alma Moor, a former newspaper writer of Maine and widow of the late Orlando Moor, died Thursday, Jan 8 at her home, 1460 West 23rd st., after an illness of about six weeks.  She was 69 years of age. Cerebral hemorrage was the cause of death.  She leaves three sons, Orlando, Ralph and Frank.  The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. from the Peck and Chase chapel, Rev. C. E. Nash and Bartlett-Logan W. R. C. officiating.  Interment will be in the family plat at Forest Lawn - L. A. Times, Jan 11, 1920

" Funeral services for Orlando M. Moor, 86, who died at his home 122 South Ave.
57 were held at the Little Church of the Flowers Forest Lawn Glendale Friday
July 30.

    Moor, who died Monday, was born in Brewer, Maine, February 21, 1879, coming
to Los Angeles with his parents in 1887.  He was educated at the old Pearl
Street School, and later the Los Angeles High School.  He also attended St.
Paul's Episcopal Church, singing in the choir until the Universalist Church was opened where he became an active member, later transferring to the Throop
Memorial Church in Pasadena.

    Moor was married to Hazel M. Morrison of Glenburn, Maine in July 1920 and
they made their home at the family home on West 23rd St. moving to Highland
Park in the spring of 1923.

    He is survived by his wife, Dr. Hazel M. Moor of 122 S. Ave. 57; a daughter,
Alma Dakan of the same address; a son, Urban Moor of Covina; and another
daughter, Ruth Rail of Long Beach; a brother Ralph Moor of Yucca Valley; and
eight grandchildren."
