Will:Calling to mind the shortness of this life and the certainty of death and being in my perfect mind and memory I make this mylast will and testament in the first place I want my wife to keep as much of the household goods as she thinks proper. I also want my wife to sell this ___ I own and buy a mare for her ease then it is my will that everything that I own should be sold and all my just debts paid in the first place and then the money that is left I want as muchy of it taken as will purchase a comfortable place for my wife and children in the Missouri and if the place is not improved I want my executor to have it improved with a part of the money that is left and then if there is money enough left I want my execoutor to purchase a negro girl with the balce of the money if there should not be money enought left to purchase a mnegro girl I want the whole of what is left laid out in land and that my wife shall have all the profits arissing from the said purchase for theequaly idvided amongst my three children, Matilda Graham, Mary Graham and James Graham. When my children all become of age it is my will that each of them shall receive their proportionable parts of my estate.  I also leave it in my will for my brother-in-law Charles Galloway to act as executor to my estate.  In witness whereof I set my hand and affix my seal in presence of the under witnesses this ninth day of July eighteen hundred and twenty five.
