Town of Glenburn, Maine. Clerk's Records. Births, Marriages, and Deaths, Vol. I, Page 55. Middle name Maud obtained in note from Hazel Morrison Moor. Says there were either (can't read writing) 7 girls and 4 boys or 4 girls and 4 boys. In 1992 visit with daughters Pauline Henderson Crisp and Olga Henderson Smith both said their mother's name, town records notwithstanding, was Maude Mahala Carver, not Mahala Maud Carver. Pauline also provides an interesting account of how she and her husband had to transport her mother's body in the family car in an all night drive from New Jersey to Maine.
