Puritanwith his neighbors the Jewetts and Brocklbanks, joined a group of
Yorkshire families organized by the Reverend Ezekiel Rogers, Puritah pastor of
St. Peter's Church at Rowley. He probably sailed with them in the ship John
from Hull, in the sumer of 1638.
