The Settlement of Northern New England 1610-1673  by Charles E. Clark Pg 246-247  Gershom who was about 14 yrs. old when the family moved cleared 9 acres and built a barn on lot 6.  Gershom married the daughter of William Mayberry 2 months after the survey was taken and shortly built a house on his lot.
