Andreas Peder POULSEN

                   Annie was Baptized 12 Sept 1880 by W. Shurtliff and was Confirmed the same day by John Spires.

Her full name is Annie Catherine Poulsen (Middle name would not allow last name to be printed on
Pedigree sheet)

I remember my Grandma Maw as a very stern woman and I was always afraid of her.  She was a fairly large lady who always worked very hard.  When ever she worked out in the garden I remember her always wearing a levi apron, probably one she made and as she gathered things from the garden she would pick up both corners of the apron and put things in it to bring to the house.  I remember when I was about 10-12 she had a stroke and was completely paralyzed on her right side and partially on the left. She would stay with us for 3 months and then go to another of her children's homes for the same length of time.  While she was with us I really resented her being there because we could never have friends at the house and we always had to be very quiet.  Looking back, that was very selfish of me.  When I was 3, my Grandfather had passed away so we moved down with Grandma to help take care of her and the farm.  I don't remember Grandpa Maw.  He died when I was 1 year old.
