John CRATER
John was buried in Holyoke on 26 April 1931.
At the time of her death, Violet lived at 1654 S. Pearl St., in Denver. The cause of death listed on her death certificate was "malnutrition, due to fractured pelvis"; a contributing cause was "senility". Her pelvis had been fractured in an accident at home that had occurred on 7 January, when she fell while walking to the kitchen. Violet was buried on 7 March 1950 in Holyoke Cemetery.
Alvah apparently died of "chills". Alvah's father John, then living in Holyoke, later bought cemetery lots for Alvah and his brother Edwin at the Walton Cemetery in Walton, Kansas, on 17 October 1888 (lots 2 and 6 in block 5).

Esther graduated from Lincoln, Nebraska, High School where her parents had moved temporarily from Colorado since no high school was available there. Immediately after graduating, she taught a one-room school in Colorado and at about the same time proved-up on a homestead. This homestead was later sold so she could buy silver and china after her marriage. Later, she worked in Holyoke as a bank teller, and with congenial friends established a Browning Society to read poetry together. It was through this group of young ladies and their friends that she met Earl Bereman. Esther was buried on 27 September 1975 at Crown Hill Cemetery, in Denver, Colorado.
He married Violet M. Clark 20 Aug 1876 at Walton, in Harvey County, Kansas . Violet M. Clark was born at Petersburg, Illinois 26 Jan 1857 .
