[Lang.FTW] Druggist 52 Years, B. G. Roadcap, Dies B. G. Roadcap, owner of Garden Arces Pharmacy at 3458 Taylor Boulevard and a pharmacist here 52 years, died at 11:50 p.m. Saturday in SS Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He was 76. Roadcap had ben hospitalized since Wednesday when he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at his home, 1408 Larchmont. A druggist in the South End a quarter of a century, Roadcap owned a pharmacy at Taylor and Central before opening the present one. He was a 1906 graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Pharmacy and was a past president of the Retail Veterans Drug Club. HAD CHURCH HONOR An active member of Epworth Methodist Church for 33 years, Roadcap was given honor in 1956 of turning the first spade of ground for the church's new building on Palatka Road. He also was a member of Louisville Masonic Lodge 400, Kosair Shrine, the Scottish Rite and York Rite. He was an active supporter of sports events at Male High School and an ardent follower of sports there and at U. of K. He was a native of Virginia. FUNERAL IS TOMORROW Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Cathryne Honnaker Roadcap; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Curley and Mrs. Sherman Jetton; a son Charles Roadcap; three brothers, Charles W. Roadcap, Clifton Forge, VA., Russell R. Roadcap, Richmond, VA., and L. Z. Roadcap, and three grandsons. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at O. D. White Funeral Home, 2727 S. Third.
