Descendants of John W. Largent, son of Thomas W.and Susan Largent
My line: John W. Largent, AKA John Largent b. 1869. Spouse, Minda Stanberry (Stanborough). I believe Minda came from many lines of Scandinavian decent. Son, Ostes Largent b. Dec. 1891 TX. He was very big, blonde, blue eyed...handsome...but influenced very much by his French ancestry. Ostes married Madelyn Lydia Briggs in 1910. She was 1/2 Cherokee, green eyed, beautiful. Ostes may have been shunned by his family for marrying an Indian? Rumor? Ostes is buried in the Exeter, CA cemetery. I have to visit his grave to find DOD. Ostes' son was Orville/Orval (records show both spellings) Largent b. 5-7-1915 - 6-17-1964. His son John Milo Largent b.1939 d. 1967-8? John Milo had 3 children, I am one of them. The Largent's were known for being very smart and very tough.
I'm very interested in finding out who is missing between Jean L'argent (John) BEF 1675 and Thomas Largent b.ABT 1728. Then, my line would be complete.

ABT 1698 in Charleston, NC. Children 1. John Largent b. 1720 in Hampshire, Virginia. John married 3 times in Virginia. In his 1st marriage ABT 1759 in Hampshire, Virginia to Sarah Nelson Henwood? b.1724, he had 3 sons...1) James Henwood Largent b. 1755 in PENN. 2)Thomas Largent b. 5 May 1760 in Hampshire Virginia. 3)Nelson Largent b. 27 Sept.1762 in Romney Hampshire, Virginia.
