Edward WINSHIP

Edward worked for Magma Mining June 1918 off and on thru 1944.
Edward Winship and Matilde were married in Pirtleville, AZ which is near
Douglas, Az.  They met in "El Tiro", a mining town near Altar.  Matilde later
came to Douglas with her 4 children and Ed was working in the smelter there.
After that they were married.  They moved to Miami, AZ from Douglas with 9
other relatives in a covered wagon.Matilde was named beneficiary 11/7/42
at his mining job.

His second marriage was to Virginia Ortego.  She was named beneficiary 6/6/44
She was a very selfish, aggressive person..

It is said that Edward was Presbyterian.  He was known as a kind and generous
person.  This is from Rafael and Matilde, the step children of Edward and
children of Matilde.
