LDS Church archives - Microfische.     This is Aunt Belle.  When her mother
died she came to live with Grandmother and her family.  She was a roudy, wild
girl, and Grandmother was worried that this would rub off on Mother.  Mother
and her cousin became sisters in every way.  They loved each other, and I
can remember Aunt Belle pounding on the piano and singing.  She was a really fun
and wonderful person, and she loved her new family.  She had cancer when she
was in midlife.  I can remember the terrible stench in the hospital room after
the surgery.  She was given a wonderful blessing by Br. Dewsnip or some name
like this in which he promised her full recovery.  From that day forward she
became well. She wore a collostomy bag for the rest of her life.  She kept her-
self meticulously clean, and I can remember no smell.  She and Uncle Sam were
never really happy together.  I loved their only child, Bubbles, so much.
Aunt Belle was always so fun to be with and always the life of the party.
I know that Aunt Belle was baptized as a child, but I could not find the date.
I Hope it will be alright with the Lord that we did the work.  She was probably
born under the covenant, but again, there are no dates, there fore we will do
the sealings of Aunt Belle to her parents.  She loved Dean also so much.  I
know she would want him sealed also.  I really feel this has been done when the
parents were originally sealed, probably in Nov 1898.
