Sarah Jane Linton Ralston Born 10 Nov 1830

Sarah Jane traveled with her family in about 1835 from their Irish Homeland in Murben, County Tyrone
to NewBrunswick, Canada where they lived until 1849 when she followed her brother, Samuel, to the United States where she lived with a cousin, Robert Selfridge and his wife and child.  She lived with them until she met and married Mathew T.R. Ralston. In the 1880 Census she was living in Philadelphia . Matthew Ralston was born in Ireland and worked as a laborer. He was 48 in the1880 CD Rom USCensus Index. Sarah was 49. Her death certificate states she was born 10 Nov 1834. She was 75years 1 month and 21days old at death. She died of Tuberculosis. She lived with William L.Ralston (Her son?) at 2335 S. 15th St. There were three children born to this family,  William 23years; Josiah 20 yers and Margaret 18years Though in his later years Samuel made two trips to Philadelphia to try to interest his family in the Church, none were interested.  He had their temple work done, probably at Manti
