Aunt Mary said the five youngest children were born in St. Johns, New Brunswick, Canada. Certificate of death details above. She lived with her husband James H. Porter or Son at 2240 So. Hemberger St. Philadelphia. Death was due to Auricular Fibrillation. She was 76 when she died. The location of her grave at Westminster Cem. is #1, lot 116, Merion Section.

Colette wrotes:  "Elizabeth was 34 years old in 1890.  Occupation: keeps house.  Her husband James A. Porter was Irish,33yrs old, and a train dispatcher.  Also living in the household were Elizabeth Selfridge (location: 1132 S. 16th st),as mentioned above and Elizabeth's elder sister, Mary ann Linton age 38.  Elizabeth and James had two children at the time.  James Hunry Porter Jr; 8 years old, and Elizabeth L. Porter: one month old.  The family also appears in the 1910 Philadelphia, PA census.  A third child, Josiah L. Porter is listed as 24  years old (Born after the 1880 Census). Elizabeth died from Auricular Fibrillation when she was 76 yers old.  At the time, she was living at 2240 So. Hemberger St.
