In Mothers record she gives the place of birth as Orrell, Lancashire, England.
In David Bryce Lintons record,  the birthplace is Welsh Whittle, Lancashire,
England.  His name is listed as Adam, his birth circa 1765, and his death date
as 4 June 1840. Knowing Bryce, I would judge this to be correct. Welsh Whittle
is also listed in the record of John William Whitehead, Rt l, Preston,Idaho,
who is a descendant of Adams 8th child,James Ellison. He also lists the death-
date as 4 June 1840.  The temple work dates for the whole family come from his
record.

   From an old family group sheet (large).  The handwriting looks like Betty
Jayne Crawley Headman of Orem Utah.  It traces her father, Loraine T. Crawley's
linage. It states that Mary Ellison father,Adam Ellison,died 7 June 1859.
