birth or christening were not found but believed to have occurred at
Almondbury. The marriage of Jonathan to Rachel was not found either. However,
other family descendants have found what appears to be the true line, which is:
The marriage of Jonathan to Susan North in Elland, Almondbury in 1753, and also
her christening record in Almondbury. Also, the children of Jonathan Midgley
(wife's name not given in the parish record) include a child named Susan, which
would substantiate the Susan North line.
