                   HISTORICAL NOTES:
    William Allred was born in North Carolina, was the son of Thomas Allred, who with two or three brothers came from England and settled in North Carolina before our American Revolutionary War.  William Allred and family moved from Georgia to central Tennessee where he died at about the age of 74 in Bedford County. Records show that William Allred was a school teacher. He was in the American Revolutionary War. His wife, Elizabeth Thrasher, died at about the age of 87 years in Monroe County, Missouri. Upon the death of William Allred all of his children were living in Bedford County, Tennessee.
