NOTES: 1. Richard Huson first appears in the records of Surry County, Virginia, in 1723, when he witnessed a deed for his wife's parents, Jarvis and Hannah "Winfield". He then appeared in 1727, when he bought his own land consisting of 400 acres on the North side of Nottoway River and both sides of Sappony Creek. This land was on the county line with Prince George County, Virginia. 2. According to land records, Richard Huson lived in Albemarle Parish. 3. In 1730, Richard Huson was listed as living near Alexander Bolling by the "Black Branch" on the border of Prince George County.
He married Elizabeth Wingfield Abt 1720 at of Surry or Prince George, Virginia . Elizabeth Wingfield was born at of Prince George, Virginia Abt 1703 daughter of Jarvis Wingfield and Hannah Mary Wynne .
