James Kilgore was an original proprietor of Cumberland County, PA.  He came with his father, John and brothers, Charles and Samuel to Chester County, PA.  There was only one daughter born to James Kilgore and Elizabeth Jack.  In some references, James Kilgore's name is given as James William Kilgore.
