                   Birth & Death: Obituary of Frances E. Parker, age 74,   At Rest

    "Francis E. Parker was born in Surry County, N.C., Jan. 21 1832, and lived
there until the age of nine years, when she moved with her parents to Buchanan
County, Missouri. At the age of 19, she was united in marriage to Laris Olson.
To this union five children were born, three of which survive her. They are as
follows: Edmund, Lewis and Columbus Olson, who now reside in Oklahoma. In 1863
Mrs. Olson was united in marriage to Andrew Anderson. To this union five
children were born, all of whom survive their mother. They are as follows: Mrs.
Emma White, John A. Anderson, Mrs. Docia Olson, Lafayette R. and Alfred F.
Anderson.
    At the age of 13 years, the deceased united with the Baptist church, but
after coming to Kansas, she joined the M.E. church at Stockdale. After an
illness of five days, Mrs. Anderson died at 5 O'clock Saturday evening, Jan. 27
1906. Funeral services held at M.E. Church Monday at 10 o'clock and interment
made in the Randolph cemetary. Services conducted by Rev. Knipe of Garrison.
    The deceased leaves a large number of relatives and friends to mourn her
loss."

    She went to Kansas with her husband, Andrew Anderson in 1868. Frnaces was
described as a noble woman and loved by all who knew her. She died at age 74.
