                   Birth record not found because of Civil War.  Was one for sister. Went to Kansas
   in 1882 with his uncle Sam. On Historical Marker at Oldtown, Grayson Co.
   U.S. 25 - First County Seat   Here at Old Town, in 1794, was built the first
   ourthouse of Grayson County.  The land was donated by Flower Swift.  A second
   ourthouse was built in 1838.  The county seat was removed to Independence
   about 1850." Raised by Parker grandparents 4 miles from Mt. Airy, N.C.
