In 1816 lived in Capt. Graves Dist on the Yadkin. Surry County, NC.  Birth place
from Marion S. Parker, Jr., Greenacres, Washington. Also Doris Taylor letter
9 July 1987 and William R. Parker history said his parents were from Mass.

Found on Grayson County Grant Book 48, p. 394.  Father, John, was granted 296
acres in Grayson County, formerly Fincastle, 27 Dec 1774 on both sides of Meadow
Creek a branch of New River, sealed 23 Feb 1802 after father, John, was

Received 118 acres on branches of Grassy Creek, Grayson County, 21 Feb 1807,
D.B. 2, p. 318. He was found in Alderman's History of First fifty years of
Carroll County, VA. He may have stayed in Virginia or North Carolina.

father, John. It was assigned to John, 27 Dec 1774.

    Received 150 acres on Crooked Creek, Grayson Co, VA from John Hickman for
$200.
