                      Martin was  a brother of Henry Markley who married Anna's sister Margaret.  They were sons of Jans Georg Merdkley aka Markle and Regina Dona Barbara Frolich.  Martin's will was dated 5 Sep. 1818 and proved 28 Aug. 1819.  His brother,Daniel Merkly, was executor.  His name was spelled Merckli on the marriage record which says he was from strasburg.  His will is filed in Lancaster Co. Pa. Book M,vol.1,p 303/4.
