Charles L. WITWER

Born near the Old "Dutch Church," in Harris Twsp., but in 1868 his parents moved with him to near No. Liberty, in Liberty Twsp. of the same county, where he was brought up and received a good common school education,.  After losing his first family and marrying again he farmed until 1900 and then sold out and moved to River Park, where he followed carpenter for the first summer, when he secured a position in the Mishawaka Woolen Mills Co.  Works, making rubber boots, which he is still following.  An examplary fine man, a noble good Christian and sincere woker in the Christian church
