Carpenter,Wheelwright,farmer.A resident of Exeter,N.H in 1659,removed to Salisbury,Ma and was on the trial jury in 1662; a resident of Rowley, Ma. 12 May 1663; bought land in Rowley of Elizabeth Starrett of Haverhill,Ma; at this time Rowley included within its limits the present Bradford..Georgetown, and Groveland;his land was in what is now known as Bradford; 20 Feb.1668 chosen an overseer of the town;His wife Mercy of Bradford sold forty acres of lant to the inhabitants of that town for the use of the minister; 23 Nov. 1667 bought several tracts of land, including land which nce belonged to his brother, Thomas Kimball, who was killed by and indian 3 May 1676; Cornet of horse troops and was known as "Cornet Kimball"; He and his bro. Richard were soldiers in 1683 and 1684,under Cap. Appleton' jos jpise was om tje west [arosj pf p;d Bradfprd. mpt far frp, tje amcient cemetary; he wa well off for the times; among his assets was a one-fourth interest in a saw mill in Haverhill,Ma. neat the Amesbury line, that he bought of Matthew Harriman.
