Patick Welsh pit against William Dickenson Defendt for thirty punds Sterlin damage, issue being joyned and put to a Jury for tryall p. name George Home and c., who after being sworn and heard all evedence and arguements brought in their verdict vizt, we of the Jury find for the Plantlife Forty shillings Sterlin damage, George Home, foreman, which verdict at the Plantifs motion was admitted to record and Judgement granted for the same with costs and an attorneys fee. It is therefore ordered that the Defendt. do pay the Plantlife the same alias Exo.(Spotsylvania County order Book 1730-1732, page 115)
