Catherine Haights gravestone in New Haven tells us that she was the widow of Stephen Haight and the former wife of William Rublee of Lanesborough Ma. with whom she had 12 children. It states that she had more than 300 desc. in 5 gen. at the time of her death. She had remarried and was living in New Haven by 1806 when she joined the congregational Church there. It is reasonable to conclude that this is the Francis Manville Rublee who was in Wisconsin in 1836/7 and then went west. At the time his wife Eloyce died in LaCrosse, Wi.in 1853 she was a widow.
