1996 book "Abercrombie and Montgomery lines" gives info. connecting Ailsey to Jonathon Critton and his wife Elandor. this info. came from Mary Ann harding 48o1 So. Wadsworth Blvd #8-309 .Littleton Colo.80123 I have not seen this but rec. info. from Sarah Gardener of Ga. also they were listed together on 1850 census living with Alsies son hugh, Elandor being 100 yrs old at that time.
Possibly the son of William Crittenden whose will was probated 29 Dec. 1796,Richmond,Augusta,Georgia.
There is a Jonathan sealed to him in the I.G.I.

"married in a fort in the Rev. War" to Jonathan Crittenden, thought to be son of William who died 29,Dec.1796 in Richmond Ga. In an article in Walker co. Heritage,by Bev.Woodall, Jonathan and Elindor were given as former residents of Pendleton S.C. In 1820, Jonathan Crittington(rev.War), was living in Rabun co. Ga. He drew land lot #238 in Troup County in the 1827 lottery. It was granted on 16 Dec. 1831 Elender was found in Rabun co. Ga. in 1838,but not in 1840. She was in Clermont,Hall Co. Ga. in 1851, one of the founders of Concord Baptist Church.
