My aunt (now deceased) gave me this information after my mother had passed away.  I did not become interested in family history before my mother had gone and oh, how I wish I had.
     Aunt Daisy said her grandma's father was a rich man, had seven miles of rich bottom land on each side of the Coosawattee River and negro slaves and her mother was in the family after two of them died.  They never left after they were freed.
