Archibald Robblee DELAP

Archie was born at Granville Ferry, had made his way as far west as Edson,Alberta, when the first war started.  At Edson,he was with a Thorne and a Fowler of Granville were painting houses.  Archie returned to Granville an joined up. he went oerseas and was in the Transport div.  At the end of the war he went to Vancouver,B.C.where distant cousins of his from Granville f. were now licing.  The family name of these people was Bogart.  Archie soon moved to Port Kells B.C. where he worked in a mill owned by Norman Wade formerly of Granville F..  Another man from his old hometown was Owen Littlewood who arrived in Port Kells after a stint in the Klonkike.He married Sophia ther who had come to live with her sister and husband.  They went to live in Vancouver.  By now he was driving a truck for Burns meat co.  He died in Shaughnessy Hosp.  Vancouver in 1970  Hes wife died 1980 .  In 1980 His oldest dau. dorothy  Hagerman was still in Vancouver.
